How can I open an account with Tamra Capital?
Everything is available inside the Tamra app and takes less than 5 minutes. You just need to be eligible to open an account, and after registering and verifying your identity through Absher: - Choose to create an investment portfolio - Set your investment goal - Answer the risk questionnaire Then, the app will automatically suggest the most suitable portfolio for you. All tools are available in the app in a simple and clear way. Eligible clients to open an account: - Saudi citizen or resident - 18 years or older - Have an active local bank account
How can I update my personal information (ID, phone number, email)?
National ID update: Your ID is updated automatically within one business day after renewal. If you face issues, check if you renewed it today. If yes, try again after 24 hours. If the update doesn’t complete, send a request from your registered email including: - Screenshot of the error (if any) - Updated ID image (from Absher) Email: info@tamracapital.sa Phone number update: If your current number is active, you can update it directly from the app: - Open Tamra app - Tap 'Settings' at the top of the login page - Choose 'Change Phone Number' If your current number is unavailable, send a request from your registered email including: - Old phone number - New phone number - National ID number Email: info@tamracapital.sa Email update: You can update your email directly from the app: - Open Tamra app - Tap ‘More’ - Tap your name at the top - Tap ‘Edit Profile ✏️’ - Enter your new email and follow the steps
How many portfolios can I create for each child?
You can create two portfolios per child.
Can a mother open accounts for her children?
Currently, only the legal guardian — whether the father or the mother — can open investment accounts for children.
How can I open an account for my children?
You can easily open accounts for your children via the Tamra app: - Tap 'More' - Tap 'Children List' - Choose 'Add New Child' - Enter the child’s ID or residency number - Complete the KYC questionnaire - Choose the suitable portfolio
What are the conditions to open accounts for children?
Children must be under 18 Hijri years and have a valid national ID or residency permit.
Can I close my Tamra account?
You don’t need to close your account if your total investment is below SAR 350, as no fees will be charged. You can keep it active and return later. If you’re sure you want to close your account permanently, please email info@tamracapital.sa after withdrawing all invested amounts.
Do I own investments on Tamra?
Yes, all investments are owned by the client. Tamra acts as the investment manager on your behalf. Your investments are held by an external custodian contracted by Tamra. You can request a statement showing your invested amounts and market value.
Can I track my investments on Tamra?
Yes, you can track your portfolio performance through the Tamra app. Data is updated daily based on the markets invested in.
What happens to the customer's investments in the event of death (God forbid)?
In the event of the death of a customer (God forbid), the Capital Market Authority notifies us of the death, and then we suspend the client’s account while keeping the funds invested in the customer's account. We will be contacted by one of the heirs to either liquidate the account and withdraw the amounts, or keep the account activated temporarily until the heirs decide (through the heirs’ agent) to liquidate the account. If the heirs wish to withdraw the amounts invested in the account, they must attach the following requirements: - Deceased paper document from the Ministry of Justice - Death certificate - A copy of the family card of the deceased - A power of attorney document from Najez that includes the power of attorney from all heirs to their agent without exception, according to the following steps: 1. Home, Documentation Agencies 2. Power of attorney [enter information of the agent or agents] then [principal] 3. Agency terms, banks and banks, special options: at [Tamra Capital Company] 4. Stock options, they have to choose all the required actions and they must also choose that this power of attorney is specific to the inheritance belonging to (...) with an identity number (...) and according to the heirs identification instrument number (..) and dated (..) - A copy of the agent’s ID card - A copy of proof of the agent’s IBAN number After submitting all the above documents, we will liquidate all the shares in the account and transfer the amount to the agent's bank account.
What happens to the client’s investments in the event of the company’s closure or bankruptcy (God forbid)?
Tamra Capital is officially licensed by the Capital Market Authority to provide advisory and investment management services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This means that the company is subject to comprehensive laws from the Authority to ensure that it follows instructions and laws in various aspects of the business and operating models, especially with regard to financial adequacy and corporate governance to preserve the rights of customers and shareholders of the company. The Authority constantly monitors the company’s financial performance, and if the company goes through circumstances that force it to terminate its services or declare bankruptcy (God forbid), the Authority will intervene before that happens and will force the company to liquidate customers’ investments and return the amounts to them. Customers’ funds and investments are completely separate from the company's operating funds, and the shares are held by an external custodian, which facilitates the process of liquidation and returning funds to customers.
How are management fees calculated and how do they appear in reports?
Management fees are calculated based on the market value of all the client’s portfolios and are automatically deducted on a monthly basis from the client’s account with Tamra Capital.
